The Jones family have been farming in the area for more than 140 years. Today they own and operate 160 hectares of vineyards in three unique blocks in Marlborough’s Wairau and Awatere valleys.
The Wairau and Awatere valleys are both in Marlborough, but the differences in climate and soil keep them distinct. Starborough’s vision is to produce high quality wines that fully express their three unique and diverse vineyards.
Sourcing Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir from both the world famous Wairau Valley and the emerging Awatere Valley allows Starborough to produce wines that capture the very best of the flavours Marlborough is renowned for.
The fruits of our labour never tasted so good!
